Looking to BUY

When buying real estate, working with a seasoned and successful real estate agent makes all the difference.

Below are Lynsie's top tips when preparing to buy:

  • Get educated on the process of buying

Learn the order of events, processes, timelines and expectations. There are many factors of time, condition, tradesmen and parties involved in a purchase.

  • Know your financial standing

Have you evaluated your own finances? Do you know how much money you will be using to make this purchase? Is it coming from liquid assets? Stocks? Bonds? Do you know the power of your credit score?

  • Choose a great lender

Will you be needing a loan? If so, you are going to want to be connected with a great lender. Start your conversation with a loan broker to learn about your personal purchasing power.

  • Research neighborhoods

What features of location are most important to you? Is it commute times to your work? Public schools? Restaurants and shopping? Home sizes? Many neighborhood statistics can be factored in during your decision making process.

  • Have a great realtor

Be confident that your agent is out there working for you! A great agent is proficient in locating home options, negotiations, tradesmen scheduling, and has a great team of supporting players.  Make sure you have a great agent on your side!

Lynsie is top-notch... We had a challenging case as first-time buyers that required heavy negotiations and constant communication. She was with us every step of the way.
